2007 NBTA Convention Most Successful in 39 Years
Alexandria, VA (July 27, 2007) -- The National Business Travel Association (NBTA) declared the 2007 NBTA International Convention & Exposition, held this week in Boston, the largest and most successful in the 39-year history of the event.
NBTA Announces Board Election Results
The National Business Travel Association (NBTA) today announced the results of the election for the NBTA Board of Directors. The new NBTA President & CEO is Kevin Maguire, CCTE, Director of Travel for The Expedition Development Company, Inc. NBTA Vice President will be Michael W. Lyons, CCTE, Travel Manager, HSBC. Maguire and Lyons were elected by NBTA Direct Members (travel managers), and both will serve two-year terms beginning today.
NBTA Foundation Announces 2008 Schedule for Global Leadership Professional Program
Boston, MA (July 25, 2007) -- The NBTA Foundation, the education and research foundation of the National Business Travel Association (NBTA), today at the NBTA 2007 International Convention & Exposition released the 2008 schedule for the Global Leadership Professional (GLP) program. The GLP, offered by the NBTA Foundation through a partnership with the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, is the only master's-level course offered in the corporate travel industry.
