    La Quinta Adds 30 Hotels in the Last 181 Days



    DALLAS (July 23, 2007) -- La Quinta Inns and Suites, one of the largest operators of limited-service hotels in the United States, has opened 30 hotels to date during 2007, approximately one hotel every six days. These openings are part of the chain's aggressive growth strategy and the Company is on track to open 90 hotels by year's end through both corporate acquisition and franchising.     SOUTHLAKE, Texas (July 24, 2007) -- The consulting unit of Travelocity Business(SM) today announced the results of its successful 2007 hotel rate negotiating season. Working with six clients, including two companies in the Fortune 35, Travelocity Business recorded an average daily rate savings of more than 34 percent off the published corporate rate at preferred properties.
