PARSIPPANY, N.J., July 24, 2007 - Avis Rent A Car System, LLC announced today that it will add 500 Nissan Altima Hybrid vehicles to its U.S. fleet, available at select locations. The new addition gives customers a choice when renting a gas/electric hybrid vehicle, with the option of selecting either the Toyota Prius, a compact hybrid vehicle, or the Nissan Altima, a full-size hybrid vehicle for those desiring more room. Avis added 1,000 Toyota Priuses to its rental fleet earlier this summer.
